"Spring-Tongs" Ad

For this project, the objective was to select an everyday object, research it, and define its purpose. Then it was up to us to define a new and unexpected purpose for the chosen object. The goal was to make an ad series of three that was unified and cohesive with each other. The object I chose was the clothespin, used to attach wet clothing to a clothesline to hang and dry. I chose to repurpose it as food tongs, to make grabbing and lifting food easier and also to transport or eat that food. I called them “Spring Tongs,” based on the spring mechanism used to open the clothespin.
